Get to Know Your Teacher

Hello students and families! My name is Mrs. Ayers! I'm so excited to be your 2nd grade teacher this year! I'm sure you would like to learn a little about who you will be spending the next 10 months with...
I have lived in Hesperia for most of my life, I even came to Cottonwood Elementary for the last month of Kindergarten back in 1991! I went to school at Mesa Grande, Ranchero Middle School and Sultana High School. I attended Victor Valley College and Azusa Pacific University. I have an Associates Degree, Bachelor's Degree, and a Master's Degree in Digital Teaching and Learning. I have worked really hard to finish college, and it has been one of the most rewarding things that I have ever accomplished. This is the beginning of my 5th year of teaching, and some of you might remember that I used to be the Bilingual Assistant in Mr. Tice's room several years ago. I have been married for 9 1/2 years and I have 3 Children; Christian is 5, Sienna is 2, and Matthew is 1! If there is only one thing that you MUST know about me it is that I LOVE THE DODGERS! I am crazy, over-the-moon, obsessed with them! I also enjoy reading, taking naps, eating at Del Taco and In-n-Out, drinking coffee, going to Disneyland, and spending time with my family. I'm sure you'll get to know a lot more about me as the year goes on! |
